Meet the ska rock band LMR and learn more about their upcoming record!

Van Full of Nuns is a pop-punk/emo band from Dallas, Texas, founded in 2019 by Mike Perez (lead vocals/guitar), Josh Koder (guitar/keyboard), Todd Griffith Jr. (drums), and Jason Korman (bass/vocals).

The guys have recently released their debut single, “Unbound”, along with a music video available to watch below. “Unbound is an anthem about empowerment and living life to the fullest. It’s about letting loose and leaving behind any and all preconceptions and insecurities about yourself to become the best version of yourself that you can be. It’s also a call for unity in the crazy divisive times we live in.” – Van Full of Nuns

On the music video, the band comments: “We shot the music video ourselves. We have a crew come out to all of our live shows and capture the experience… That’s exactly what Pop Punk Nite and the new single “Unbound” is all about. We then took all of our footage and sat down together as a band and decided what worked best for this song. It’s meant to be like an anthem, so every bit of our footage shows the energy and engagement with the crowd that Van Full of Nuns can create.

Todd Griffith is head of marketing for us and was able to create the additional affects and b-real footage and put it all together. You can see in the video how good of friends we all are, and the amazing time we share together as a band. Several of the clips in the video were filmed at Gas Monkey Bar and Grill in Dallas, Texas. They are huge sponsors of ours, supporters of the new song, and fighting with us for the growth of Pop Punk music in our community.”

The band is also the founder of Pop Punk Nite – an event that transports audiences right back to the 90’s and 2000’s pop-punk eras when Blink-182 ruled the scene.
