Oh! You Pretty Things bring years of various writing, producing and stage experiences to life using a mix of pop, punk, hardcore, and folky blues styles.
Their debut EP, “N is for Nostalgia”, was completed without any outside label influence, with no studio time, and for absolutely no out-of-pocket cost.
Recorded in Callie’s home in an upstairs bedroom, the EP’s creation reflects the raw emotion in her lyrics which echo aspects of bullying, failed relationships and lost friends, and the ever long struggle with mental health.
The pain and emotions those nostalgic feelings can bring back are wrapped up in grunge-laden guitar riffs and punky basslines with some hardcore dynamics.
“We feel really proud of where we are and where we are going, and couldn’t be more excited for everybody to hear what we have to offer”, comments the band.
Oh! You Pretty Things plan on releasing a debut album for sometime before 2021. Stay tuned!
