Bursting into the music-scene in 2018, CLIFFDIVER consists of six Indie-Rock specialists combining their talents for the greater good.
Their upcoming album, ‘At Your Own Risk’, recorded with Seth Henderson (Real Friends, Knuckle Puck), is loosely based on a series of realizations that led frontperson Joey Duffy to search for a healthier way to cope with his bi-polar disorder.
Each song on the record is designed to capture a particular real-life event that eventually accumulates into a broader narrative.
The first single, ‘Cameron Diaz’, is the fourth track of the record. It describes the initial moments of clarity after seeking professional therapy. On this song, the band comments:
“This song means a lot to us since it’s about our mental health journey. Our message to anyone struggling is don’t give up, there’s still time to figure this all out. You don’t have to do it alone.”
