Last Night Saved My Life is a pop-punk band hailing from Michigan. Earlier this year, the band recorded their debut album with Seth Henderson (Real Friends, Knuckle Puck).
“Waterfall” will be the third and final single off of the band’s upcoming debut album, “Cherry”. The song was co-written with Derek DiScanio of State Champs. On this release, the band comments:
“The song is about being vulnerable with someone and not being used to feeling that way. Like when you realize that you want everything with someone else, but then you realize how terrifying that is. In the song, the lyrics say “all i want is to be your every morning, late night talk until 3”.
That’s about being fully up front and honest with someone with what you’re feeling and the result is this waterfall of words that just comes out. All you can do after that is just hope they feel the same. It’s a scary and also exciting feeling.”
