Punks Bad Buzz talk about their single, “Talkin’ Shit”!

Inspired by the sound of skate punk bands such as Millencolin, NOFX, and Gob, the Toronto natives Bad Buzz came to life in the summer of 2014.

Originally a 3 piece consisting of Ross Carvelli (guitars, vocals), Andrew Laurie (bass), and Tristan Loria (drums), the band added fourth member and second guitar player, Troy Fullerton to fill the sonic landscape in 2015. The band has been described as having an extremely tight and energetic live show, with catchy lyrics and hard hitting drums.

Talkin’ Shit” is the first single from the forthcoming EP from Toronto Punk Rockers Bad Buzz. The EP titled “Try Harder” is set to be released on May 31st on all streaming platforms. On this song, the band comments:

The song was recorded live off the floor at Boxcar Sound Recordings in Hamilton, ON with producer Matt Gauthier. Lyrically, the song is about being the target of shit talking and taking the high road instead of dishing it back. It’s one of our more poppy songs, but still sticks to the punk rock sound we’ve been exploring since day 1”.

Musically,
